Embossing Folders

I watched a video a couple of days ago by ‏KraftyKatsy on Youtube where she experimented with an embossing folder using a rolling pin to see if it would work for those people who could not afford a Bigshot or Cuttlebug ect, like myself. Well, I went and bought the Rellie Rave Cuttlebug embossing folder today and thought I would try it out myself. And it worked! I'm not really sure how she did it in her video or how much pressure she applied because it was unclear - but it definitely worked for me. So people who can't afford the necessary machines? Don't worry. A little effort and you can manage just fine without.

Take your folder and some card.

Take your roller or something similar and go over all of your folder adding as much pressure as possible - it helps if it's on a flat, hard surface.

And ta da! I added some ink so you could see it a bit better.
